Adolescent Allies

Event Description

Adolescent Allies is a monthly group space where parents and carers who are parenting beyond childhood can come toegther to share afternoon tea, share wisdoms, share questions, and share experiences to strengthen the parenting village at this unique stage of parenting. 

Parenting in the tween and teen years is a time where parenting can feel different to all that has come before as our young people put on the training wheels of adolescence and begin to grow towards adulthood. If you are parenting at this stage you may have questions and concerns. Adolescent Allies offers a relaxed space to discuss relevant topics for this stage of parenting. 

We offer light afternoon tea snacks  in this adults only space and children aged 12- 17 are welcome to attend 'The Social' our young people's dinner group that runs concurrently on Wednesday afternoons. (Babes in arms are welcome at Adolescent Allies) 

This is a space held by a Community Support Worker and is free to attend.
