Circle of Security (hosted throughout the year on WEDNESDAYS)

Event Description

Circle of Security COS is an Internationally known parenting program that teaches parents the importance of identifying their child’s needs and how to support them in these needs. It is a program run once a week for 2 hours over eight weeks. Parents are taken through a different aspect of the circle of security each week, learning how to relate to their child, how to react to situations and to build confidence in their parenting abilities. Facilitated by a Social Worker from the Thriving Families, it offers a supportive environment for parents to relate and talk about their parenting experiences and learn new skills. Its  purpose is to support parents and skill building.
