Join us on Saturday 7th September for a free, fun, interactive, and informative day out for your family at Cotton Tree Park. Bring your whole family along to the Family Fun Day. Entry into the event and all activities are free!
The kids’ activities include face painting, wildlife shows, superhero entertainers, stilt walkers, a drumming circle, and creative activities. There is also a free family barbecue and prize giveaways. Tribal Link will do a Welcome to Country and share traditional stories. One of the main features of the event, are 2 huge fabric murals that kids are encouraged to create using paints and pens. These mural artworks will be guided by a Children’s Art Therapist and a local Indigenous Mural Artist.
We are also having 15 local community agencies with free play activities and information on local family support options and childhood development resources.
